Terms and Conditions
The terms for using this website, plus a plain-English summary of how our service works.
We've written these terms in plain English. Each client also signs a short, separate service agreement before work starts. That agreement is the contract that governs your service.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Steady Social, a trading name of Kampus_Digital Hub Solutions, a business registered in Nigeria (Registration No. BN 8263254), with its registered address at 25, James Watt Road, Off Mission Road, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Kampus_Digital Hub Solutions trading as Steady Social. "You" and "your" mean the person or business using this website or our services.
2. Using this website
You may browse this website, print pages and share links for your own lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at volume, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
We try to keep everything accurate and up to date, but prices, availability and service details can change. If something on the site is wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
The content on this site (words, illustrations, layout and code) belongs to us unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to quote short extracts with a link back.
3. The service
Steady Social manages social media pages for UK local businesses. The standard service ("Steady Social Standard") covers Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google Business Profile. Other channels can be agreed in writing.
For each client we agree, in writing before work starts:
- which channels are included;
- the planned posting rhythm;
- your tone, your quiet days and anything you never want posted;
- how you'll send photos and clips;
- the monthly reach boost amount, if you want one.
We work to UK hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) and aim to reply to messages within one UK working day.
4. What's included, and what isn't
Included in the monthly fee: management of the agreed channels, writing captions, scheduling posts, replying to public comments, a small monthly reach boost on at least one post every month, and a simple monthly report.
Not included unless separately agreed and paid for:
- advertising budgets on the platforms (these are paid by you, in your own ad account);
- larger advertising campaigns beyond the small monthly boost;
- photo and video shoots;
- website design, development or website care (these are quoted separately, as described on our other services page);
- handling enquiries, bookings, quotes or telephone calls;
- paid software or subscriptions you ask us to use on your behalf.
5. Price and payment
The standard price is £200 per month, paid upfront monthly. Payment is due before the month of service begins. We'll confirm the payment method and date in your service agreement.
If a payment fails or is late, we may pause posting until it's resolved. We'll always tell you before we pause anything.
We may change the price in future. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice in writing, and you can cancel before the new price starts.
6. The reach boost and advertising budgets
Every month includes a small reach boost on at least one of your posts, set up through your own advertising account. If you don't have an ad account, we'll help you create one in your name. At least one post is boosted every month; if the agreed budget allows, a second post may be boosted as well.
The advertising spend sits in your account and is paid by you directly to the platform. Our fee does not include it. We agree the amount with you in advance and don't spend more without your approval.
Boosts increase how many people see a post. They do not guarantee any particular number of enquiries, followers, sales or reviews, and we make no promise of that kind.
7. Your responsibilities
To keep the service running well, you agree to:
- grant us partner or admin access to the agreed accounts, never a password;
- send photos or short clips regularly, ideally weekly;
- tell us promptly about changes to opening hours, prices, staff or services;
- make sure anything you send us is yours to use, and that people in photos are happy to appear;
- answer anything we escalate to you, such as a complaint or a sensitive comment;
- follow the terms of service of each platform.
8. Our responsibilities
We agree to:
- post on the agreed rhythm and keep the channels active;
- write in British English, in your voice, without inventing claims or results;
- never buy followers, likes or reviews on your behalf;
- never ask for or store your passwords;
- keep your login access and business information confidential;
- tell you straight if something isn't working, rather than quietly carrying on.
9. Accounts and ownership
You own your accounts, your followers, your content and your reviews, always. We are given access only so we can do the work, and we remove that access when our work ends.
We may keep copies of posts we wrote and of your photos for our own records, and we may show examples of our work on this website or in proposals, unless you ask us not to.
10. Content and permissions
You are responsible for making sure you have permission to use any photo, review or customer name you send us. We will not post a customer's photo, name or review without your confirmation that permission has been given.
If we use a photo of a person, we may ask you to confirm consent in writing. We'd rather ask twice than get it wrong.
11. No guarantees
Social media results depend on many things outside our control: the platforms' algorithms, your trade, your prices, your area and your season. We do not guarantee followers, engagement, enquiries, sales, rankings, reach or virality, and nothing on this website should be read as such a promise.
What we do promise is the work: the agreed rhythm, the captions, the replies and the reporting.
12. Term and cancellation
The service runs month to month. Either side can end it with 30 days' notice in writing (email or WhatsApp is fine). There is no long contract and no exit fee.
If you cancel, we'll finish the current paid period, hand back access, and give you any captions or schedules we've already written. Payments already made for a month in progress are not refunded.
13. Refunds
Because this is a service delivered over time, refunds are limited. If we fail to deliver the agreed work and can't put it right, we'll refund the unused part of that month. If you cancel mid-month, the current month is not refunded.
14. Limitation of liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business or lost opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
If the platforms change their rules, restrict an account or remove a post, we'll tell you and do what we reasonably can. We can't control those decisions and aren't liable for them.
15. Data protection
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy and Cookies page. In short: we collect only what we need to reply to you and to run the service, and we don't sell it.
16. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example if the law changes or we add a service. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Changes to an existing client's contract will be agreed in writing with that client.
17. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are not affected.
